The Dry

by Jane Harper · 2016

Federal Agent Aaron Falk hasn't been back to the place where he grew up in twenty years. When he gets word that his childhood best friend, Luke, is dead—his entire family murdered—Falk returns for the funerals, only to be drawn into the secrets of the drought-stricken farming community of Kiewarra. Amid the worst drought in a century, long-buried mysteries resurface as Falk investigates what looks like a murder-suicide.
