Coraline

Coraline Jones, an inquisitive 11-year-old girl, moves into a new apartment with her busy parents. While exploring her new home, she discovers a mysterious, locked door that leads to a parallel universe. This alternate world initially appears better than her own, featuring an 'Other Mother' and 'Other Father' who look like her parents but have buttons for eyes. Coraline soon realizes this world is sinister and dangerous when the Other Mother kidnaps her real parents. To save them and herself, Coraline must rely on her wits, courage, and a protective stone given to her by eccentric neighbors to navigate the eerie, magical landscape and defeat the Other Mother.
