After a public meltdown in a Manhattan restaurant, celebrity chef Jack Hartman returns to his Florida hometown to resurrect a struggling restaurant inherited from his late mentor. He is joined by Poppy Winfield, a social media influencer seeking to escape her own reputation and prove her capabilities. Jack agrees to let Poppy help promote the venture on the condition that she learns the restaurant business from the ground up, including cooking. As they work together in Diamond Bay, their initial enemies-to-lovers dynamic evolves into a deep connection, forcing both to confront their pasts, insecurities, and personal growth.
