Fool Moon

by Chase Conley, James Marsters, Jim Butcher, Mark Powers, Tyler Walpole · 2001

When a brutal murder in downtown Chicago is blamed on a vicious werewolf, wizard‑detective Harry Dresden is called in to separate myth from menace. As the city’s supernatural underworld awakens, Harry discovers that the beast is only the tip of a far darker conspiracy—one that threatens to unleash a wave of chaos across the mortal realm. With his wits, a reluctant police partner, and a few trusted allies, Dresden must track the predator before the next full moon, confronting ancient curses, treacherous magic, and his own haunted past. "Fool Moon" blends gritty noir, sharp humor, and high‑stakes sorcery, delivering a pulse‑pounding start to Jim Butcher’s acclaimed Dresden Files series.
