When God inexplicably tasks two broken souls with divine missions, their lives collide in a wildly funny, heartbreaking odyssey. Yara, cast out by family and reeling from a toxic relationship, is ordered to slay Dominic, the ruthless commander of the Bad Guys. With nothing left to lose, they abandon a quiet existence of embroidery and obsessive cleaning for a perilous training trek that forces them to confront fear, faith, and their own worth. Across the same battlefield, Adrena, a disillusioned prophet haunted by a terrifying secret power, is desperate to earn God’s favor and a promised reunion with her mother in heaven. To prove her plan is divine, she must convince Harpo, the leader of the Good Guys, that her scheme is the true will of the Almighty. As their quests intertwine, humor, magic, and raw emotion surge through a landscape of angels and enemies, delivering a scorching, original epic that asks what it means to be chosen, to love, and to rewrite destiny.
