Seven Year Itch: a steamy enemy to lovers, small town rom-com perfect for fans of Meghan Quinn and Tessa Bailey

by Amy Daws · 2025

When Dakota Schaefer flies to Mexico for her brother’s destination wedding, she expects a fresh start after a painful divorce. Instead, a family‑sabotaged dating profile lands her sharing a room with Calder Fletcher—the rugged, tattooed cat‑dad she’s despised for seven years. Their forced proximity in a sun‑kissed palapa turns snide barbs into sizzling tension, and a night of unexpected intimacy leaves both wondering if the hatred they’ve nurtured is really desire in disguise. Back on Calder’s mountain town, Dakota asks him to be her wingman, and the line between enemies and lovers blurs even further. Packed with sharp humor, steamy moments, and a small‑town charm that fans of Meghan Quinn and Tessa Bailey adore, this enemies‑to‑lovers rom‑com proves that sometimes the best love story starts with a fight.
