Too Much Glue

by Jason Lefebvre, Zac Retz · 2013

Matty can’t get enough glue. At home he and his dad turn the kitchen into a sticky workshop, crafting glue glasses, mustaches and bouncy balls. When his art teacher warns, “Too much glue never dries,” Matty decides to prove her wrong. In class he grabs the biggest bottles, squeezes out a shimmering lake of glue, and—without thinking—belly‑flops right into the middle, getting hilariously stuck to his desk. Instead of scolding, his dad arrives, celebrates Matty’s imagination and declares his son a living work of art. Filled with vibrant language, lively illustrations, and a wildly funny plot, Too Much Glue invites young readers to embrace creativity, mess‑making, and the joy of turning a sticky situation into a masterpiece.
