The Radiant King

by David Dalglish · 2025

In a world ruled for centuries by six immortal siblings who command Radiance—the primal force of life—peace has been a fragile promise. Five brothers have sworn never to rule, but the youngest, Eder, breaks the pact, proclaiming himself the Voice of Father and imposing a harsh new faith on the land. His brother Faron, fresh from exile, returns determined to end Eder’s tyranny, while their calculating sibling Sariel warns that unchecked immortality breeds devastation. To topple a kingdom they cannot do alone; they must find a ruler capable of bearing a throne their oath forbids. Their unlikely ally is the fierce Bastard Princess, a mysterious woman wielding powers she claims were gifted by the goddess Leliel. As ancient evil stirs and civil war erupts, the siblings must choose between destiny and duty, love and betrayal, in a high‑stakes saga of gods, politics, and the cost of immortality.
