Throne in the Dark

by A. K. Caggiano · 2025

Damien Maleficus Bloodthorne was born to a demon father and a destiny of darkness—prophecy names him the realm’s destroyer, and his most vicious spell is on the brink of completion. His path of malevolence seems inevitable, until a tiny, irrepressibly bubbly thief named Amma is magically bound to his side. Though she is a relentless, blonde troublemaker with secrets of her own, Amma’s relentless optimism and unexpected usefulness begin to stir something in Damien that he never imagined: feelings. As they journey across a war‑torn world, Damien must choose between fulfilling his villainous birthright or protecting the thorn‑like spark of virtue Amma ignites within him. "Throne in the Dark" is a twisted romance of dark prophecy and bright defiance, where a feared dark lord may discover that love is the most dangerous magic of all.
