Anne of Windy Poplars

by L. M. Montgomery · 2019

Between her graduation from Redmond College and her eventual marriage to Gilbert Blythe, Anne Shirley steps into a new chapter as the headmistress of Summerside High School. Settling into the breezy, ivy‑clad Windy Poplars, she must win over the aloof Pringle family—Summerside’s unofficial royalty—while navigating the town’s quirky secrets and the challenges of teaching and administration. With the steadfast support of her eccentric aunts, Aunt Kate and Aunt Chatty, and the indomitable housekeeper Rebecca Dew, Anne discovers that courage, compassion, and a little humor can turn even the most prickly obstacles into triumphs.
