Dare

Leith Torren, a devoted Blade of the ruthless King Respen, has never wavered from his deadly orders—until a stray arrow and a merciless prairie blizzard force him to the doorstep of the sisters whose family he helped annihilate. Their secret faith and ties to the underground Resistance thrust Leith into a world of moral ambiguity, where obedience clashes with a yearning for freedom. As loyalties are tested and hidden truths surface, Leith must decide how far he will go to defy the king and his own deadly creed—knowing that any choice will claim a life.
