Love Radio

by Ebony LaDelle · 2022

Seventeen‑year‑old Prince Jones runs Detroit’s hottest hip‑hop love‑advice show, doling out romance tips while juggling caretaking duties for his mother and brother. He dreams of becoming a DJ and finding his own love story, but his world is all playlists and phone calls—until he meets Dani Ford. Dani is a driven senior with a scholarship‑bound plan to move to New York and become a novelist, and she’s determined to keep romance out of the way after a painful party incident. When Prince challenges her to three dates, the pair discover that the chemistry between a self‑styled “love doctor” and a fiercely independent writer is impossible to ignore. As they navigate secrets, ambitions, and the music that brings them together, they learn that the most unforgettable love stories are the ones you write yourself.
