Cobalt Blue

by Jerry Pinto, Sachin Kundalkar · 2016

In Pune, the Joshi family welcomes a mysterious paying guest—an enigmatic artist with no past, no name, and a willingness to pay rent and lend a hand. His quiet presence soon becomes a catalyst for upheaval when both siblings, Tanay and Anuja, fall irrevocably in love with him. As the trio navigates desire, longing, and the fragile bonds of family, the stranger’s sudden departure shatters their hearts and forces each to confront the shifting tides of tradition and identity in modern India. Sachin Kundalkar’s spare, lyrical prose captures a generation in transition, offering a tender yet unflinching portrait of love, loss, and the search for self.
