Under the Orchard's Spell: A Novel

by Adams, Ann · 2026

When Ali Reid inherits her late uncle’s pear orchard, she finds herself drowning in debt, abandoned by her fiancé, and racing against a harvest that threatens to rot. Desperate, she calls back Logan Wright, the stoic carpenter who gave her her first kiss fourteen years ago. Logan moves into her farmhouse, and together they set to work saving the orchard. Yet the land is anything but ordinary—unnatural storms howl, jewel‑toned rabbits take refuge in the barn, and the pears begin to crystallize like glass. As they untangle bizarre phenomena and long‑buried family secrets, old feelings flare and a deeper, magical curse tied to the orchard emerges. In this cozy, second‑chance romance, love and mystery intertwine, proving that sometimes the most enchanting healing comes from the very soil that once seemed cursed.
