Worthy of Fate

by A.N. Caudle · 2026

When a deadly plague ravages Kya’s nation, the fae marked by the Gods at birth must confront the Trial of the Gods—a perilous rite that could grant her unimaginable power or seal her fate with death. As Kya battles the darkness threatening to consume her realm, she discovers that the true test lies not only in surviving the trial, but in mastering the gifts she receives before the shadow spreads any further. Meanwhile, Ryker, a fierce Shadow fae bound by his own duty, has long awaited his destined mate. Finding Kya ignites a fierce, forbidden bond that forces him to choose between the safety of his people and the pull of a love that could doom them both. Together, they must navigate ancient prophecies, treacherous spirits, and a magic system that tests the limits of loyalty and sacrifice. Worthy of Fate weaves dark fantasy and romance into a gripping tale of destiny, where every decision could either save a world or plunge it into eternal night.
