Graham Greene

Henry Graham Greene (1904‑1991) was an English writer and journalist widely regarded as one of the leading novelists of the 20th century. He earned acclaim for both serious Catholic novels and suspenseful "entertainments," and was shortlisted for the Nobel Prize in Literature several times. Over a 67‑year career he published more than 25 novels, exploring moral and political conflicts of the modern world; *The Power and the Glory* (1940) won the 1941 Hawthornden Prize and is often considered his finest work.
