Homer

Homer is the legendary ancient Greek poet traditionally credited with composing the epic poems the Iliad and the Odyssey. Little is known about his life; he is thought to have lived in the 8th century BCE and to have been a blind bard who performed his works orally for audiences across the Greek world.
