Lily King grew up in Massachusetts and earned a B.A. in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. in Creative Writing from Syracuse University. She has taught English and Creative Writing at universities and high schools in the U.S. and abroad. King is the author of the New York Times bestseller Writers & Lovers and has published fourteen books to date.
