Nick Bland
Nick Bland was born in the Yarra Valley of Australia in 1973. The son of an artist and a primary‑school teacher, he grew up on a farm and later moved to the bush. From a young age he wanted to be a cartoonist and writer. In 1996 he worked in a book store and decided to write and illustrate children’s books. His first book, “A Monster Wrote Me a Letter,” was published in Australia in 2005. He now lives in Darwin, Australia, and works full‑time as an author‑illustrator.
